To find ideas for birthday parties, I would be a picture-search Yahoo and take ideas from other parties! Many who found the car parts have to do with the movie "Cars", but there are many cute ideas! I like the photo on the link below - which, with cans of motor oil and other car is decorated related stuff.
You can block the aircraft from the ceiling with fishing line. And a train (or hire) from cardboard boxes and large (such as boxes and cans refrigerator) stove would be great fun for kids to play!
EDIT: you can use to decorate with toys - big trucks can make cute pieces that serve food!

For invitations you could 3-wheel D. Find some easy cheap calls with a truck or a car or something on them, and get tips and construction paper. Cut and paste wheels a. Then the wheels really moving.
